Kennedy's Peace Corps Bill Passes Through Committee

A bill that Joe Kennedy III introduced passed through house committee Wednesday with "unanimous consent," according to Kennedy's Facebook page.

The bill, titled Peace Corps Commemoration Act (H.R. 915) is intended to "authorize the non-profit Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation to establish a commemorative work on federal land in Washington, D.C. The Foundation is responsible for any costs associated with the commemorative work."

Kennedy was a member of the Peace Corps.
