Kennedy Comes to Attleboro

The new congressman holds an open house at his Attleboro office.

Dozens of people crammed into U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy III's North Main Street office Saturday afternoon to meet the congressman at his first official event in Attleboro since taking office earlier this month. Kennedy's district includes Attleboro and Seekonk.

Among the local dignitaries who attended the event and got a few words in with Kennedy were City Councilors Jeremy Denlea and Walter Thibodeau, state Sen. James Timilty, former Mayor and current Attleboro Redevelopment Authority Chair Judy Robbins and former state Rep. Bill Bowles.

Kennedy's local office is located at 8 North Main St. in Attleboro.
