Help "Make a Splash" and Support a Local Pool

Rep. Elizabeth Poirier hopes others see the need to support a N. Attleboro pool.

Let me begin by recognizing the great generosity displayed every time I present a compelling issue that exists in our area.  My appreciation is profound.

I am appealing once again for a local cause to which many can relate.  The WWII Memorial swimming pool that many of us grew up with is in dire need of our support. I am asking you to remember that many of us learned how to swim in this pool and, as intended when the WWII Veterans gave us the pool, we enjoyed many fun summer days there with our family and friends.

As we reflect on our own childhood fun, I sincerely hope you will be supportive of the effort to continue that legacy for the youth of today.

Please join me in sending a donation, large or small, to “Make a Splash Foundation”, P.O. Box 327, North Attleboro, MA 02761. Additionally, I encourage all to attend an Open House Program at the pool on Monday, July 18 at 5:30pm and I look forward to sharing our memories.  The pool is located at 45 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.

With your help, the children of today will have the same opportunity to create many fond memories like the ones we all continue to cherish.
