Free Flu Clinic for Seekonk Residents

Flu shots will be available at Town Hall tomorrow.

Free flu vaccines will be available at tomorrow, Nov. 8. The shots are available to all Seekonk residents age 9 and older.

The shots are available by appointment only and appointments are made through the Board of Health at 508-336-2950.

The flu clinic will run from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The Board of Health also has pamphlets and other information on preventing the flu available at Town Hall, including these ways to prevent the flu:

  1. Get a yearly flu vaccine
  2. Wash your hands
  3. Use alcohol based sanitizer
  4. Cover coughs and sneezes
  5. Don’t share personal items such as eating utensils
  6. Teach children good hygiene habits, especially about washing hands
  7. Stay home when you are sick to avoid spreading the flu
