Congressional Hopefuls Spread Holiday Cheer at GOP Party [VIDEO]

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown was one of many politicians to make their way through Attleboro Saturday.

It was a packed house at the Attleboro GOP Committee Holiday party Sunday afternoon. A large crowd gathered at in South Attleboro to celebrate the holiday and spread campaign wishes and cheer.

GOP Chairman Howard Bibeault and Vice Chairwoman Susan Blais hosted the free event to celebrate the holiday and to introduce Republican candidates to members. Their most prominent guest was Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts, who chatted with constituents, autographed books and posed for photos with friends and candidates.

Dozens of local officials and their families joined in the festivities from School Committee Member Elect Barbara Craw to Elizabeth Childs, the Republican candidate for Congress, District 4. Several others including Representatives Steven Howitt, George Ross and Betty Poirier mingled with others in the crowd.

There were others in the crowd who have not yet announced their intent to run including Pastor Jeff Bailey who is considering a run for Sen. James Timilty's seat and Sean Bielat, who may run for Cong. Barney Frank's old seat.
