Selectmen to Discuss Speedway Liquor License Violation
Tonight, the Board of Selectmen will meet in Town Hall Chambers to discuss town issues.
Selectmen are scheduled to meet in Town Hall Chambers at 7 p.m. tonight. Some of the key issues are:
- There will be a public hearing regarding a liquor license violation involving the Seekonk Speedway.
- Selectmen will discuss a $2,000 donation from Walmart to the Seekonk Police Department.
- Selectmen are anticipated to appoint four full-time firefighters.
- Selectmen will accept an American flag from the veterans association.
- Selectmen will consider the donation of water bottles from the town clerk.
- Away from public view, selectmen will discuss 41 Lake St. litigation.
