Attleboro Local Vets: "Wear Your Poppy Proudly"
Local vets need help from the community.
Attleboro veterans were out in force Saturday. Local veterans stood and sat for hours in front of several Attleboro locations during their semi-annual collection.
Everywhere you looked there was a veteran standing proud with a basket of "Buddy Poppy" flowers.
Veterans were at several locations throughout the city including , , Dunkin' Donuts and the Attleboro Post Office, to name a few. The vets were collecting coins and bills from residents who were willing to support the city's Veterans Assistance programs.

The vets will be out with their collection tins and poppy baskets again in November.
