When Does the Winter Parking Ban Begin in Attleboro?

It's that time of year again. Make sure you're not parking your car on the street after 11 p.m.

Beginning Dec. 1, Attleboro residents will be prohibited from parking their vehicles on public ways between the hours of 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Superintendent of Public Works John Clover said this week.

The winter parking ban will last from Dec. 1 to March 31.

The ban is per city ordinance 10.5-1L, which states:

No person shall park a vehicle in any of the following places:
On any public way between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from December 1st to March 31st, inclusive; provided, however, that the time limits existing between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as established by these ordinances shall apply during these hours, and where no time limit is determined by this ordinance, then a one-hour limit shall prevail
