Jaws of life were used to remove at least one person from one of the vehicles and at least one person was sent to a hospital in Rhode Island.

"I heard a car speed by," said a man who lives near the crash site. "Shortly after, I heard a tire blow out, and then a crash. It was just a chain of events."

A power pole was struck in the crash, knocking out power at least briefly.

A dispatcher at the Attleboro police station told Patch at 12 a.m. that the crash was under investigation and nobody from the station could comment.

Attleboro Patch will have more information soon.
