On-Ramp to I-95 North Remains Closed after Tractor Trailer Rollover

Massachusetts State Police remain at the scene of a tractor trailer rollover.

Theand Massachusetts State Police responded to a tractor trailer rollover at the exit on I-295 northbound to I-95 North at 8:15 a.m. Sunday.

The driver of the tractor trailer rollover sustained minor injuries, according the Massachusetts State Police.

Police shut down the ramp and detoured traffic onto I-95 South.

There was some fuel spilled, according to the Attleboro Fire Dept.

Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section are investigating the rollover. Because the tractor trailer was carrying perishable goods, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health was notified.

The ramp remains closed at 11:30 a.m. There is no anticipated time for the opening of the ramp, according to State Police.

The rollover was one of many at that same exit. Just two weeks ago, police responded to a on the other side of the highway. Police have said speed is often in a factor in the rollover incidents at that location.
