Teacher Accused of Sex with Teens Loses Job

The Taunton school district fires Seekonk resident Patrick Doyle. He is facing a trial on various sex charges, including aggravated statutory rape.

A Seekonk resident accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl and sexual contact with another 14-year-old has been fired as a teacher in the Taunton school district, according to NBC 10 in Providence.

Patrick Doyle, 33, faces various sex charges, including aggravated statutory rape. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Doyle taught eighth-grade social studies at Taunton High School. He was accused of having sex with one teen at his home and the alleged sexual contact with another teen took place at the school, prosecutors say. He is also accused of sending explicit messages and photos, including at least one of his penis, to those teens and at least one other.

Lefteris Travayiakis, Doyle's attorney, has called the alleged victims who were trying to sabotage his client's life and career. He said they had so they could get his contact information to begin the text exchanges.
