State Police Investigating Overnight Crash on I-95 in Attleboro

A Brockton man was transported to the hospital following a single car crash on I-95 North in Attleboro shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday.

The following is adapted from a press release from the Massachusetts State Police:

A single car crash early Saturday morning on Route 95 North in Attleboro sent a man to the hospital with serious injuries.

Massachusetts State Police troopers from the Foxboro barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on I-95 North in the vicinity of Exit 2A in Attleboro at about 4:10 a.m. Saturday.

The victim (the operator and sole occupant of the vehcile), a 24-year-old Brockton man, was transported by Attleboro Fire and EMS to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. The victim has since been discharged from Rhode Island Hospital.

The single vehicle involved was a 2008 Ford Focus. No significant impact on traffic was reported.

The facts and circumstances remain under investigation with the assistance of troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section.

Troopers were also assisted at the scene by officers from the Attleboro Police Department.
