Six Fire Departments Respond to Tanker Rollover During a Training Drill
La Salette Shrine was the location for a training drill for six area fire departments.
Several fire departments including the and Rehoboth Fire Department participated in a training drill in the parking lot of in Attleboro this weekend.
The reason for the drill was to simulate the response by firefigters to a tractor rollover, which was carrying fuel, the Sun Chronicle reports.
The did not participate in the training because, according to Chief Scott Lachance, the Attleboro Fire Department does not regularly shuttle water like other surrounding communities because Attleboro has a tremendous municipal water supply.
