"I looked outside and Henry was outside of his store with blood coming out of him and said 'that guy just shot me' so I said let's get him and I  ran across the street at the gas station and yelled to people he had a gun," Lavoie said.

Lavoie had chased the shooter into but lost site of him. Other witnesses told Lavoie that the shooter had jumped in a red car.

"It was weird because the guy came in and asked where his money was and then he left. That is when Henry stood up and then the guy turned and shot him."

"His wife Kim is really shaken up bad," Lavoie said from his store.

Police quickly arrived on the scene but had just passed the red car with the shooter, according to Lavoie. "When they got here I told them 'you just passed him.'"
