Seekonk Police Log: Drunk Driving, Damage Near Church, Shoplifting

A Ledge Road man was pulled over by officers near Seekonk Congregational Church and charged with drunk driving after he allegedly caused property damage.

Seekonk police officers charged five people from Monday, April 25, to Sunday, May 1, with drunk driving, violating traffic laws and other offenses.

  • Rebecca Newman, 30, of Cumberland, R.I., was arrested on a warrant on Monday, April 25, at approximately 11:27 a.m. 
  • Joao Dalomba, 20, of East Providence, was arrested under a warrant Wednesday, April 27, at 1:13 a.m. after police responded to the Seekonk Driving Range for a report of bent poles.
  • Philip Grima, 62, of 650 Ledge Road, was charged with drunk driving, leaving a scene after property damage, operating recklessly to endanger, and violating traffic laws after police responded to the Seekonk Congregational Church at approximately 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27.
  •  Eugenio Picon, 41, of Central Falls, R.I., was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license and defective equipment after he was pulled over on Saturday, April 30, at approximately 5:04 a.m.
  • Casey Conrad, 17, of North Dighton, was charged with shoplifting merchandise over $100 by concealment after officers responded to Kohl’s at approximately 5:23 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
