Seekonk Police Log: Arrests for Shoplifting and Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Seekonk Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Seekonk police officers charged locals with crimes, including shoplifting, resisting arrest and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, from Tuesday, July 5, to Saturday, July 8.

  • Thomas Rose, 19, of Riverside, R.I., was charged with shoplifting by asportation and resisting arrest after police responded to Bob's Store at 150 Highland Avenue at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 8.
  • Robert Sanchas, 52, of Warren, R.I., was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, after police responded to the Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, July 8.
