Seekonk Narcotics Unit Raids House for Allegedly Cultivating Drugs

On Thursday night, officers obtained a warrant to search a Back Street residence, arresting five in connection to drug charges.

After a two-month investigation, Seekonk police detectives and members of the narcotics team arrested five Seekonk residents for allegedly cultivating Class D drugs with the intent to distribute on Thursday, March 3, according to a press release issued by Captain Craig Mace. At approximately 8 p.m., officers searched the residence at 79 Back St. after obtaining a warrant.

Mathew Kempke, 22, and Kimberly Kempke, 46, both of 79 Back St.; Jacob Najas, 21, of 25 Catalpa St.; Sean Lauffer, 25, of 304 Lincoln St.; and Andrew Paulo, 24, of 11 Tee Jay Drive, were arrested Thursday night. They all were charged with conspiracy to violate drug law, Class D controlled substances cultivation and Class D drug possession, and other charges may be pending. All five were transported to the Seekonk Police Department for processing and were scheduled for arraignment at Taunton District Court on Friday, March 4, according to the release.

Seekonk investigators were assisted by the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council S.W.A.T. Team, a canine officer from the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department, and Seekonk Police patrol officers, according to the release.
