Police Seek Suspect in Shell Station Robbery

The robbery came shortly after a robbery at Dodgeville Country Store on S. Main St.

Attleboro Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Shell Station on South Avenue Tuesday night.

According to a statement released by the Attleboro Police Department, "the male is described as being 5-5” to 5’7” tall and his age was estimated to be in his 50’s.  The male was described as thin build and had a mustache and eyeglasses.  He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and dark colored pants, brown work boots and a black hat."

Police indicated that the Shell station was robbed at approximately 9:20 p.m. Tuesday night. Upon arrival, police learned that the suspect handed the cashier a note demanding cash. He indicated that he had a weapon but none was shown.

While a search was conducted in the area, the suspect was not found.

The robbery came just minutes after an armed robbery on at Dodgeville Country Store on S. Main St.
