Police Log: Slow Week for Attleboro Police

After a recent eventful week with 35 arrests, Attleboro Police had things slow down the past few days.

had a slew of arrests two weeks ago, which included a drug raid and the arrests of suspects trafficking heroin. This past week, however, police had a total of three arrests between Feb. 15 and Feb. 20. 

Those arrested include: 

  • Anthony Martinis, 18, of 601 Wilkins Glen Rd., Medfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and having an unregistered motor vehicle. 
  • Bryan William, McGovern, 24, of 31 Amsterdam St. Providence, was arrested for disorderly conduct, evading taxi fare. There was a warrant for McGovern's arrest out of North Attleboro for leaving the scene of property damage. 
  • Sameja Farouq, 40, of 70 Orchard Lane, was arrested on a court warrant as fugitive from justice, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, having an uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.
