Police Log: Seekonk Teenagers Charged with Underage Drinking, Possessing Drugs

Officers charge locals with drunk driving and breaking and entering in the night with the intent to commit a felony.

Seekonk police officers arrested 18 people from Monday, Feb. 21, to Monday, Feb. 28, on charges including drunk driving, possessing drugs and breaking and entering during nighttime.

  • Keane Marcello, 35, of Attleboro, was charged with driving without a valid registration at approximately 10:33 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, after patrol officers pulled his vehicle over on Highland Avenue.
  • Zonia Gomez, 40, of Central Fall, R.I., was charged with driving without a license and attaching plates to a vehicle near Sports Authority on Highland Avenue at approximately 7:07 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
  • Kick Shelton, 40, of Pawtucket, R.I., and Jose Ramirez, 37, of Cranston, R.I., were arrested under warrants at 2:07 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
  • Derek Allard, 20, of East Providence, R.I., was charged with driving without a valid license at approximately 6:16 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, after police pulled him over close to Brook Street.
  • Mark Belmont, 32, of 5 Avon St., was charged with operating a motor vehicle illegally at approximately 5:06 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
  • Christine Vanasse, 41, of Fall River, was charged with driving without a valid inspection sticker and motor vehicle insurance at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
  • Robert Fonseca, 23, of East Providence, R.I., was arrested under two warrants and charged with leaving the scene after causing property damage at approximately 9:58 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24.
  • Yolibelle Maldonado, 28, of Fall River, was arrested under a warrant at approximately 2:33 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25.
  • David Pemmerl, 25, of Providence, R.I., was charged with drunk driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failing to stay within marked lines  after he was pulled over on Taunton Avenue at approximately 3:01 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.
  • John Mann, 49, of Attleboro, was arrested under a warrant; Doreen Kirby, 42, of Attleboro, was charged with larceny over $250 and conspiracy to commit a felony after police responded to Kohl’s at 3:36 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.
  • Mark Trial, 19, of Fall River, was charged with possessing alcohol, operating without a valid license and speeding after he was pulled over on Fall River Avenue at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.
  • Jason Irving, 34, of Pawtucket, R.I., was charged with driving without a valid license and defective equipment, after he was pulled over at approximately 8:54 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.
  • Ryan Barbosa, 17, of 11 Smith St., was charged with transporting alcohol and possessing a Class D drug; a 16-year-old was charged with possessing alcohol, after the two were pulled over at Richard Circle at approximately 9:51 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.
  • Ryan Blanchette, 21, of Blackstone, and a 15-year-old, were both charged with four counts of breaking and entering during nighttime with the intent to commit a felony, three counts of larceny over $250, unarmed burglary, and conspiracy to commit a felony after police pursued two males at 4:28 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27.
  • Jamie Weyker, 27, of 71 Anthony St., was charged with speeding, driving an uninsured motor vehicle without a valid license and attaching plates to a motor vehicle after police pulled him over at approximately 9:03 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27. 
  • Jonathan Friedman, 25, of Attleboro, was charged with drunk driving, operating under the influence of drugs and negligent operation of a motor vehicle after police arrested him at approximately 9:21 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27.
