Police Log: Seekonk Man Charged With Using Broken Beer Bottle As Weapon

Officers charged three locals on Sunday, May 22.

Seekonk police charged three people from Sunday, May 22, to Monday, May 23, with violations including, driving under a suspended license and using a broken beer bottle as a weapon.

  • Gerard Roland Spano, 23, of 271 North Wheaton Ave., was charged with assault and battery on a pregnant woman, malicious destruction of property over $250, and assault by a dangerous weapon at approximately 11:37 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, after he allegedly used a broken beer bottle as a weapon. Police allegedly brought him into custody after he became violent and had a knife wearing a t-shirt and possibly boxers. Seekonk Dispatch requested the Seekonk fire department, Massachusetts State Police and Rehoboth Police to assist. 
  • Lance Greggerson, 23, of Pawtucket, R.I., was charged with driving with a suspended license without an inspection sticker, after he was pulled over on Arcade Avenue at approximately 6:03 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.
  • Cecilio Miranda, 43, of Pawtucket, R.I., was charged with operating a vehicle after their license and right to revoke was suspended after police pulled his vehicle over at approximately 9:01 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.
