Seekonk Police Log: Money Scattered Near Pond, Road Rage Leads to Fight

All reports are provided by the Seekonk Police Department.

  • On Wednesday, July 6, at 5:36 p.m., police responded to Rockland Trust Bank after two Seekonk men allegedly got into a punching match due to a road rage incident. All fighting stopped once one of the Seekonk men pulled out a knife from his pocket.
  • On Friday, July 8, officers were dispatched to Little Tree Nursery on Newman Avenue. According to the owner, someone stole $700 worth of plants.
  • On Sunday, July 10, at approximately 3:50 a.m., a disturbance at the entrance to Burr's Pond was reported. Officers found $237 scattered in the road.
  • On Thursday, July 7, police responded to Anthony Street. Allegedly a pedestrian was hit by a 2002 Lexus at approximately 11:44 a.m.
