Police Log: Man Arrested For Dumping Seekonk Mailboxes in Rehoboth

The following arrest information was supplied by the Seekonk police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officers charged six locals with crimes from Monday, May 23, to Friday, May 27, including shoplifting, wanton malicious destruction and violating harassment prevention orders. 

  • Ann Sheets, 52, of Bristol, R.I., was charged with larceny over $250 on Monday, May 23, at approximately 5:08 p.m. after officers responded to a call from Kohl's reporting shoplifting.
  • Kimberly Kempke, 46, of 79 Back St., was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, attaching plates to a motor vehicle and not having her license in her possession at approximately 7:49 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25.
  • Mason Sousa, 19, of Woonsocket, R.I., was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle after the license was revoked, and violation equipment regulations, after he was stopped near the Old Grist Mill Tavern at approximately 3:01 a.m. on Thursday, May 26.
  • Christine Correira, 38, of 671 Fall River Ave., was charged with operating a vehicle with an invalid registration at approximately 1:17 p.m. on Thursday, May 26. 
  • Adam Oliveira, 23, of 14 Sagamore Road, was charged with 10 counts of malicious or wanton damage or defacement and using a motor vehicle to commit a felony at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Friday, May 27, after dispatch recieved reports of three males taking a mailbox on North Wheaton Avenue; Rehoboth police reported finding mailboxes in the middle of Providence Street near the fire station. 
  • Michael Bowers, 18, of 20 Judy Ann Drive, was charged with violating harassment prevention orders, at approximately 9:44 p.m. on Friday, May 27.
