Police Log: Drunk Driving and Drunk Trespassing

An arrest does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Officers arrested locals for drunk and reckless driving and trespassing into residential areas during the middle of the night.

  • Cameron Rezendes, 19, of 80 Leonard St., was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stay within marked lanes, speeding and trasporting alcohol as a minor after police pulled his vehicle over on Arcade Avenue at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, July 28.
  • William Stanley, 24, of Rehoboth, was arrested under a warrant on Friday, July 29.
  • John Sears, 24, of Pawtucket, R.I, was arrested under a warrant; Courtney Demers, 19, of Barrington, R.I., was charged with drunk driving, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violations after the vehicle was pulled over on Arcade Avenue at approximately 11:01 p.m. on Friday, July 29.
  • Brian Logan, 40, of Cumberland, R.I., was charged with being a fugitive of justice at approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday, July 30.
  • Gary Harriger, 40, of Riverside, R.I., was charged with trespassing and disturbing the pace after police responded to a report that a drunk man earing cut off jeans tried to gain access to a Fall River Avenue home at approximately 1:48 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1.
  • Arthur Pacheco, 29, of Rehoboth, was charged with drunk driving, speeding and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, after police stopped his vehicle on Taunton Avenue at approximately 10:32 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1.
  • Robert Terrien, 23, of 2 Fieldwood Ave., was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle and equipment violations after officers responded to Mary's Motor Lodge at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2.
