Police Log: Indecent Assault on a Child Arrest in Attleboro

Leon Rivard, 55, of 295 Robinson Ave. Attleboro, was arrested on Oct. 14, 2011 by Attleboro Police Officer Yuri Bukhenik on a warrant. The warrant for his arrest was out of was on charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14. Rivard was charged with Indecent Assault and Battery on a Person under age 14 and Reckless Endangerment of a Child.

Rivard was charged by Attleboro Police Det. Jeffrey Peavey after an investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual contact between himself and a person under age 14. "The investigation began in late September 201," Det. Sgt. Arthur Brillon said. "Rivard is/was known to the victim and the victim's family."

Friday, Oct. 14:

Jonathan Visquerra, 26, of 17 Pearl St. Attleboro, was arrested after violating an abuse prevention order.

Zbigniew Wiatrowski, 51, of 29 Lincoln Ave., Pawtucket, RI was charged with stalking.

Sylvia Holt, 32, of 47 Bank St. Attleboro, was arrested on warrant for Class C Possession charges and was then charged with disorderly conduct, falsifying a crime report, disguise to obstruct justice and falsifying a bomb threat.

Thursday, Oct. 13:

Guy Greene of 44 Adamsdale Ave. S. Attleboro, was arrested on assault and battery (domestic) charges and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Shelly Cooper, 36, of 9 Falmouth St. N. Attleboro, was arrested for speeding, not having an inspection sticker, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence of liquor.

Rosa Teixeira, 35, of 244 South Main St. Attleboro, was arrested on a warrant out of Chelsea on assault and battery charges and was also charged with driving with a suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Oct. 12:

Pablo Rodas, 28, of 56 Robett St. Attleboro, was arrested on larceny over $250 by false pretense.

Reinery Castro, 30, of 132 Railroad St. Central Falls, RI was arrestedfor making an improper turn, having an uninsured car, and driving without a license.

Nicholas Woodroof, 51, of 112 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, RI, was charged with larceny from a building.

Ned Costello, 22, of 41 Newport Ave. Attleboro, was charged with leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, frinking and driving and a marked lanes violation.

Tuesday, Oct. 11:

Sarah Harrington, 18, of 334 Oakhill Ave. Attleboro, was arrested aftershoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Monday, Oct. 10:

Eric Saulnier, 32, of 13 Maple St. Attleboro, was charged with assault, threat to commit a crime, witness intimidation and disorderly conduct.

Daiana Bautista, 17, of 14 Sylvian St. Central Falls, RI, was chargeed with larceny over $250.

Sunday, Oct. 9:

Amanda Vadala, 18, of 100 Oak St. Mansfield, was charged with two counts of shoplifting by conceiling merchandise.

Ryan Leonard, 19, of 61 Emory St. Attleboro, was charged with possession of ammunition, defacing property and assault and battery (domestic).

Saturday, Oct. 8:

Tara Whalley, 28, of 130 North Washington St. North Attleboro, was charged with operating a car under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
