Police Ask Residents to Help Find Graffiti Vandals

On Sunday, July 31, officers found a radar trailer vandalized with yellow spray paint.

Seekonk police are asking the public to help find graffiti vandals who spray-painted a radar trailer left on Sagamore Road near Stratford Road.

According to a police report written by Patrol Officer James Moore, on Sunday, July 31, he drove by the trailer and saw yellow paint all over it. There was unreadable writing on it. Upon closer inspection, he did not find any cans or evidence in the area. He also didn't observe any people walking or driving through the area. The trailer was taken away from the area and refurbished by the police department. It's currently in the back of the police station.

According to Captain Craig Mace, the equipment is requested by town residents and has proved to be an asset to the department. Any information regarding the crime can be relayed to the police department by calling 508-336-8123.
