Paramedics Use Jaws of Life to Pull Driver from Car on Interstate 95

Massachusetts State Police are at the scene of a car accident on the Mansfield/N. Attleboro line.

Massachusetts State Police units are at the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on Interstate 95 northbound, on the Mansfield/North Attleboro line. The crash occurred at approximately 1 p.m.

A victim was extricated from a vehicle by emergency responders using the Jaws of Life, state police said in a press release. The driver, a 19 year-old girl, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. North Attleboro and Mansfield Fire Departments responded to the scene. State troopers from the Foxboro Barracks, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Crime Scene Services Section are investigating. The two leftmost lanes are closed.
