School officials and law enforcement are convening this week to discuss a hit list found at Hill-Roberts Elementary School.

A fourth grade student created the list, which included names of other students. Officials, including School Superintendent Kenneth Sheehan, will meet Tuesday morning to discuss the matter.

According to Sheehan, a substitute teacher found the list at the school on Monday. Students were sent home with notes to explain the matter to parents.

No information about whether or not the school has taken action against the student who reportedly wrote the list has been released.

Notes were not sent home to the parents. We learned about this from the morning news. An automated phone call came in after school started this morning.

I was very upset to find out about this on the news, not from Principal Johnson yesterday. Notes were not sent home with the kids. This was not handled correctly. I hope there is never another situation like this. Parents...talk to your kids...teach your kids...LOVE your kids!
