Attleboro Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire early Tuesday morning on Union St. that resulted in what will likely be the total loss of a two-car garage.
Fire Capt. John Guenette said firefighters responded to the incident at 121 Union St. just after 2:30 to find a heavily involved fire to the garage with a vehicle inside. The fire was put down within 20 minutes of arrival.
Guenette said the siding of the structure was melted off and a vehicle was also damaged. The total cost of damage could add up to $75,000, he said.
There were no injuries in the incident and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
