After an investigation into an accident that killed a 17-year-old Attleboro student, the driver, Krystina Renzi of Attleboro, was found "not at fault."

The office of Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter has determined that the driver of the car involved in an accident that killed Attleboro teen Myles Brastow was not at fault. An investigation conducted by , State Police assigned to the DA's office and the State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit, found Renzi was not responsible for the September 24, 2010, accident.

Renzi was contacted but did not want to comment out of respect.

"The accident reconstruction report determined Mr. Brastow was travelling at a speed of 47 mph, which is 17 mph greater than the posted 30 mph speed limit and was deemed a contributing factor to the fatal crash," said Gregg Miliotte, director of communications for the Bristol County DA.

The investigation, completed on February 17, found that Renzi pulled forward to make a left turn when Brastow came along and applied the breaks.

"He lost control of his motorcycle and slid on its left side," Miliotte said. "The motorcycle did end up striking Ms. Renzi's vehicle, but Mr. Brastow himself never struck Ms. Renzi's vehicle.
