Dodge Crashes into Medical Building

The uninjured 92-year-old driver is not cited.

A 92-year-old man "caused a significant amount of damage" to the wall of a medical building on Emory Street in Attleboro Friday afternoon when he cashed his 2003 Dodge Caravan, Police Sgt. Arthur Brillon said. The driver, John Sojka of Rehoboth, was not injured in the crash.

Brillon said the was contacted at 12:02 p.m. about the crash at Primary Cardiology of Attleboro. Nobody was in the building at the time.

It was not determined if Sojka mistakenly hit the gas pedal when intending to step on the brake, but the crash was ruled an accident by police investigator Anthony Lofton, Brillon said. Sojka was not cited.
