Traffic was at a crawl on Interstate 95 South and North and Massachusetts State Police officers were on the scene of the fatal one-vehicle accident in North Attleboro north of Exit 5. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes of travel.

The accident was reported at 7:07 am after a Care Van discovered a commercial van in the wooded median between the two sides of the higway. Emergency personnel pronounced the Phan deceased at the scene.
