Child Injured in Attleboro Crash

Witnesses say the 4-year-old was sitting in the front seat of the car and not in a car seat.

A 4-year-old child was sent to the hospital in Rhode Island with unknown injuries following a Saturday morning car crash on South Main Street in Attleboro, according to WPRI news in Providence

The TV station reported:

Officers say their initial investigation suggests that a silver Nissan Maxima crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle, a white Nissan Altima. The child was in the Maxima. 

Witnesses say the child was in the front seat of the car and was not in a car seat.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. near the Seanna Road intersection, according to WPRI.
