Central, Northern Seekonk Remain Without Power
While Route 6 beginning to gain power, residential areas along the Route 44 corridor and back roads are without electricity.
Tree removal contractors are removing limbs from power lines to restore electricity to homes after Sunday's tropical storm toppled trees like dominoes.
According to Fire Chief Alan Jack, central and northern Seekonk is still almost entirely without power. Route 6 is seeing flickers of restoration. The public safety complex and town hall are not hooked up to the grid.
Main roads like Arcade, Newman and Taunton avenues are clear, but some of the back roads, including Alves and Cole streets, are closed.

"Tree companies are effectively working on some streets right now," Chief Jack said.
He did not have information regarding when power was estimated to be restored. The town has water; the district utilizes generators.
