Breaking and Entering, Theft, Illegal Driving

Four arrests are reported for Oct. 22-28.

The Seekonk Police Department reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction):

Oct. 24

  • *12:15 p.m. Nicholas Steven Morris, 33, of West Warwick was arrested at a residence on Perry Avenue following a reported breaking and entering. He was arrested on suspicion of felony daytime breaking and entering, possession of burglarious tools, malicious destruction of property valued at less than $250, receiving stolen property valued at more than $250 and resisting arrest.
  • 4:40 p.m. Ashley Marie Arruda, 23, of Fall River was arrested at Kohl'sfollowing a report of shoplifting. She was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license as well as an unspecified warrant.

  • 6:26 p.m. Nelia Couto, 43, of Seekonk was arrested near the intersection of Newman Avenue and Roosevelt Street following a traffic stop. She was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle after license or right to operate was revoked. She was also accused of a motor vehicle lights violation.

Oct. 28

  • 12:30 p.m. Michelle L. Cambra, 33, of Providence was arrested at Stop & Shop on Highland Avenue following a report of shoplifting. She was arrested on suspicion of larceny over $250.
