Attleboro Teen Charged in Coelho School Rape
Attleboro Police have arrested a 15-year-old Attleboro boy after he allegedly sexually assaulted another student at the middle school.

The investigation into the alleged assault began on when Attleboro police were notified of an incident at the school. Attleboro Police Det. Russell Castro began an investigation into the allegation and obtained a warrant for the boy's arrest. An arrest warrant was issued for the boy on one count of juvenile delinquency, to wit; rape, in Attleboro Juvenile Court today. The boy, accompanied by his parents, turned himself in and was booked at the Attleboro police station.
Det. Sgt. Arthur Brillon said the investigation began after the school department reported to police that the boy sexually assaulted his classmate in a secluded locker area while classes were in session.

The boy was released into the custody of his parents and will be arraigned in Attleboro Juvenile Court on Thursday.
