Updated: Attleboro School Buses Burn in Fire, Investigation Ongoing

There will be no disruption in Monday's school transportation, according to the Attleboro Central Office.

A fire resulted in the burning of multiple Attleboro school buses Saturday night.

Attleboro Fire Deputy Ed Greve said Sunday that an investigation is ongoing into the cause of a fire that destroyed three school buses parked in the Pleasant St. yard late Saturday night.

Greve said firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 10:57 p.m. The fire took approximately 20 minutes to put down, but officials stayed into the early morning hours Sunday investigating the cause, which Greve deemed as suspicious.

Nobody was injured while fighting the fires, he said.

Attleboro school officials said in a tweet Sunday morning that there will be no disruption in service Monday.
