Attleboro Resident Arrested in Norton Crash

Eric Jette is arrested on suspicion of OUI.

A vehicle crash at Chartley Four Corners in Norton lead to an arrest of an Attleboro resident Thursday night.

Police responded at 10:35 p.m. to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of West Main and South Worcester streets. Two vehicles were reported to be involved in the crash. No one was injured.

After an initial investigation, police discovered that a Jeep Wrangler, operated by 25-year-old Attleboro resident Eric Jette had drifted into the oncoming lane of travel. The other vehicle, a Chevrolet Impala, had to cross into the opposite lane of travel in an attempt to avoid a head on collision. The Jeep sideswiped the oncoming vehicle, causing it to spin around and caused heavy damage, police said.
