Attleboro Police Log: Assaults

Ten arrests are reported for July 4-8.

The Attleboro Police Department reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction):

July 4

  • *8:14 a.m. Brooke Kathryn Wieners, 18, of Attleboro was arrested at 88 Forest St. on suspicion of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and being a person under 21 in possession of liquor.
  • 11:44 a.m. Daniel Edwin Sherburne, 31, of Attleboro was arrested at 12.5 Holman St. on suspicion of violating an abuse prevention order.
  • 4:55 p.m. Vanny Sor, 60, of Attleboro was arrested at 14 Park Ave. on suspicion of two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
  • 6:27 p.m. Matthew Peter Daley, 20, of Attleboro was arrested at 33 Summer St. on suspicion of assault with a dangerous weapon.

July 6

  • 4:16 p.m. Terrence Javonta Glascho, 18, of Boston was arrested at 138 South Main St. on suspicion of uttering a false check.

July 7

  • 10:20 a.m. Vidal Diaz Vasquez, 26, of Attleboro was arrested at 77 Park St. on suspicion of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a state highway traffic violation.
  • 7:05 p.m. Russell Edwin Davey, 46, of Attleboro and Richard A. Astacio, 44, were arrested at 2 Merritt Place on suspicion of disturbing the peace. 
  • 9:06 p.m. Ronald Curtis Spartichino, 56, was arrested on Park Street on suspicion of a third offense of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

July 8

  • 10:05 a.m. William Newton Dohring Jr., 35, of North Attleborough was arrested 69 Water St. on suspicion of assault and battery (domestic), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property.
