Attleboro Police Log: Assault on Police and Elderly

Eleven arrests are reported from Aug. 27-30.

The  reported the following recent arrests and charges (and arrest and charge does not indicate a conviction):

Aug. 27

  • 12:17 p.m. John Evangelista, 17, of Harwich was arrested at Arbour-Fuller Hospital  (200 May St.) on a warrant. He was charged with assault and battery with injury to a disabled person age 60 or older.
  • 1:27 p.m. Nelia Couto, 43, of Seekonk was arrested at Bristol Place Shopping Center (1130 Newport Ave.) on suspicion of shoplifting and a warrant. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • 7:46 p.m. Jonathan Visquerra, 27, of Attleboro was arrested at 40 John St. on suspicion of violating an abuse prevention order.

  • 12:54 a.m. Matthew Peter Daley, 20, of Attleboro was arrested at an undisclosed location on a warrant. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
  • 1:13 a.m. Brandon O'Clair, 23, of Attleboro was arrested at 213 Hillside Ave. on suspicion of witness intimidation.
  • 12:48 p.m. Raymond Wenzell, 41, of Attleboro was arrested at his Knight Avenue home on a warrant. He was charged with credit card fraud over $250.

Aug. 29

  • 12:43 p.m. Alan B. Clayton, 40, of Attleboro was arrested at his County Street home on suspicion of assault and battery on a police officer, being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant and disorderly conduct. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

  • 11:57 a.m. Shawn Steven Timas, a 19-year-old homeless man, was arrested on Dunham Street on a warrant. He was charged with assault and battery.
  • 3:12 p.m. Kimberly Robert, 32, of Attleboro was arrested at her Morey Street home on a warrant. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • 6:10 p.m. Christopher John Redlund, 18, of Attleboro was arrested at his Prospect Street home on a warrant. He was charged with felony nighttime breaking and entering.
  • 6:25 p.m. Erika A. Bocelle, 22, of Cumberland was arrested at the CVS on North Main Street on suspicion of shoplifting.

*The time indicates when the suspect was booked at the Attleboro police station.
