Attleboro Police Bust Seekonk Man on Drug Charges

William Cameron of Seekonk is due back in court on Aug. 28

Attleboro Police busted a Seekonk man this week for allegedly selling oxycotin in the Seabra's parking lot on S. Main St.

William Cameron, 28, of 28 Carpenter St., Seekonk was arrested for distribution of a Class B substance. He was arraigned Wednesday in Attleboro district court and is due back in court on Aug. 28, according to court documents.

According to the documents, the Attleboro Police Detective Unit and the North Bristol County Drug Task Force were conducting surveillance on the area at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday when they observed Cameron, driving a silver Ford Edge, pull into the parking lot.

"I observed the operator hand something to the white male who had been standing there waiting," Todd Boldy of the Attleboro Police Department wrote in his police report.

The reports said that when officers moved in, the male who had been standing in the parking lot ran into the woods and dropped a white bag with 10 white round pills next to Big Lots.

Cameron was apprehended at that time. A number of drugs were confiscated from his vehicle, including oxycotin and oxycodone, according to the reports. Cameron allegedly has a perscription for the pills, the reports said.
