Attleboro Man Seriously Injured in Fatal Car Accident

Four people were injured and one killed in an accident Saturday morning.

Jospeh Hill of Attleboro and three East Providence residents were injured early Saturday morning in a wreck that also resulted in the death of a Providence man.

The wreck occurred at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday, state police Lt. Eric LaRiviere said. A Providence man named Eduardo Zabala was driving the wrong way on Interstate 195 near exit 2 in Providence when he hit another vehicle head on.

Hill and Michelle Belcastro of East Providence were in that car, LaRiviere said. That car was then rear-ended by a car driven by Leann Archibald of East Providence. She had a passenger in the car named Christopher Beauregard, LaRiviere said.
