Attleboro Man Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Possession

Stoughton Police say they found crack cocaine, oxycodone and marijuana in the 28-year-old man's vehicle.

An Attleboro man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession Tuesday morning following a motor vehicle stop in Stoughton.

Stoughton Police say they found crack cocaine, oxycodone pills and marijuana after searching the vehicle, according to a release on the Department's Facebook page.

Adam Guzman, 28, was charged with two counts of possession of a class B substance and was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

According to the release, Stoughton's newest police officer Daniel Carmichael ran the registration of a red Honda Accord and found it to be revoked.

Officers Carmichael and Robert Kuhn stopped the vehicle at 9:26 a.m. in the vicinity of 2091 Central St. They searched the vehicle and found oxycodone and marijuana, according to the release. Officer Brian Holmes searched the vehicle with his dog Annie, who specializes in drug detection, and found crack cocaine, the department reported.
