Alleged Illegal Driving in Seekonk

Four arrests are reported for Oct. 15-21.

The Seekonk Police Department reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction):

Oct. 16

  • *1:27 a.m. Kurt Hodlin, 25, of Milton was arrested following a traffic stop on Fall River Avenue near the Rehoboth line. He was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

  • 7:52 p.m. John Gregory Maxwell, 57, of Seekonk was arrested at his home on Carpenter Street on an unspecified warrant.

Oct. 18

  • 6:31 p.m. Robert Edward Carvalho, 39, of Fall River was arrested at the 99 restaurant on Fall River Avenue after police were called about "assisting a motorist," according to the police log. He was arrested on suspicion of operating an unisured motor vehicle with a revoked registration.

  • 10:26 p.m. Cecilio Rodrigues, 49, of Providence was arrested following a traffic stop at the intersection of Taunton Avenue and Pleasant Street. He was arrested on suspicion of a second offense of OUI and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. He was also accused of a marked lanes violation.
