Susan Jack, Beloved Wife of Seekonk Fire Chief, Dies

Susan Jack, the wife of Seekonk Fire Chief Alan Jack, died on Saturday, May 21.

Susan M. (Tatarian) Jack, the beloved wife of Seekonk Fire Chief Alan R. Jack, died on Saturday, May 21.

Born in Attleboro, Jack was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Rita L. (Boule) Tatarian. She resided in North Attleboro, Plainville and Rehoboth before moving to Seekonk five years ago, according to the obituary published by the William W. Tripp Funeral Home. She volunteered for years in local YMCAs, including the Seekonk YMCA.

Besides her husband of 23 years, Jack also leaves two sons, James and Jason Parker; a daughter, Jennifer Jennings, and her husband, Jamie; five grandchildren: Brittany, Katerina, Justin, Darren and Jack; five sisters: Mary Valade, Ann LaValley, Helen Wright, Rita Sanford and Kathy Beeby; a brother, Peter Tatarian, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral was held today, May 23, at 9 a.m. at the William M. Tripp Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs (formerly St. Mary’s Church) in Seekonk. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in North Attleboro.

Flowers are welcome or gifts in her memory to Rhode Island Pink Heals, 53 Providence St., Suite 5, West Warwick, RI 02893 will be appreciated, according to the funeral home obituary.
