Remembering Natalie F. (Fearney) Babcock

Natalie F. (Fearney) Babcock, 88, of Attleboro, passed away on January 14, 2014, at Madonna Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Babcock.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Marguerite F. (Peirce) Fearney. Natalie spent most of her youth in California. Before retirement, Mrs. Babcock was employed with the Balfour Co, as a secretary from 1977-the late 80’s. Prior to her employment with Balfour, Natalie was a secretary with the former Barrowman Co of Attleboro, and was also a clerk at the Pleasant Pharmacy also in Attleboro. Natalie’s favorite pastimes were crocheting & needlepoint. She was an avid card player and loved to cook for her family and friends.

She was the loving mother of William T. Babcock and Kathleen L. LeFrancois and husband Allan. Grandmother of Sarah Mullen and husband Michael, and Melissa LeFrancois. She also leaves several cousins. She was also the sister of the late John and Dorothy Fearney.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 10 am, in All Saints Episcopal Church, North Main St, Attleboro. Interment will follow in North Purchase Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, from 4 to 7 pm, in The Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 160 Park St., Attleboro.
