Remembering Lucille T. Collins

Lucille T. Collins, 86, of North Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Daniel T. Collins, Jr., who died on July 13, 2008.

Born in North Attleboro on October 13, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Raoul and Lena (Horne) Precourt.

Mrs. Collins was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1946.

Lucille was employed in the personell department at Balfour for fifteen years prior to her retirement in 1992.

She loved to read and enjoyed crafts.

Mrs. Collins is survived by three children: Mark D. Collins of Acworth, GA, Gary T. Collins and his wife, Sheelah Collins of Cumberland, RI and Alan M. Collins and his wife, Susan Collins of Attleboro; two siblings: Virginia Heslinga of Hammond, IN and Richard Precourt of Plainville; three grandchildren: Mitchell Collins, Ashlyn Collins and Megan Collins. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Lucille was predeceased by her sister, Annette McNamara and niece, Beth Ann Heslinga.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home – the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend funeral services on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 9:00 AM in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Reverand Kelly Thibeault of the First Congregational Church, North Attleboro, officiating.

Children’s room available during visitation and the funeral service.

Private Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Attleboro Falls, MA.
