The Attleboro White Hawks visited the fourth and fifth-grade Junior Warriors for their first of two contests this 2011 football season. The Whitehawks played their normal physical style of football, but the Warriors' Defense was up for the challenge. Adam Horowitz and Michael Araujo combined for some key tackles, stopping the Hawks ground attack. When the Hawks tried to air it out, Gabe Bastien and Jack Murphy were their to break it up. Jack nearly intercepted a 15 yard pass attempt, but it slipped out of his hands as he collided with the intended receiver. The second half of play provided continued good play from the defense. Jordan Pina made a nice open field tackle on a Hawks end around, which resulted in a loss of yards. Nathan Schreiner and Chris Lane combined on a tackle to stop the runner at the LOS which forced a turn over on downs. Hunter Studley made a nice tackle on special teams, as he zeroed in on the Hawks kick returner, planting him in the turf.

The Warriors Offense continued with its ground and pound approach all afternoon tiring out the Hawks D-line. In the third quarter, the Warriors Offensive line, lead by Captain Cameron Garabian and Guard Nathan Massud, split the Hawks D-line in half, allowing Adam Horowitz to bust for an 80 yard touchdown. Unfortunately, the Warriors did not make the extra point, and that was the deciding factor in the game. The Warriors lose a heart breaker to the Hawks, 7 to 6.
