Help a Local Student Pay for College

Help this local student pay for college.

A local resident lost his mother in an Attleboro car accident last year. Since then, it has been much more difficult to pay for college.

Local GoFundMe user James Mello writes:

So most of you visiting this page know that I lost my mom in February of this year unexpectedly in a car accident. Her car struck a tree in Attleboro, Massachusetts and she had passed before I even found out the news.

My life hasn't been the same since that day. My dad, Troy, is trying to support four kids as a single parent on his own. I was accepted into the University of Rhode Island a few weeks before that day in February, and my mom told me she would have done anything to make sure I could go to college. With my dad being put in such a hard situation, he cannot help me pay for college. I've been working so hard for this and I would do anything to be able to further my education. If you could donate what you can afford, and share this page, I would be extremely grateful.. Thank you all

Unlike other crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter, GoFundMe focuses more on helping people fund very personal goals. So in addition to traditional charitable causes, you may find someone who is asking for help financing a car payment or paying for a honeymoon.
