Congregation Agudas Achim Open House

Award winning Hebrew School at Congregation Agudas Achim Now
Accepting Enrollment – Open House Sunday August 25, 2013 and First Day of
School is Sunday September 15, 2013

The award winning Hebrew School at Congregation Agudas Achim
is currently accepting enrollment at the synagogue located at 901 North Main
Street in Attleboro, MA. We will have an Open House on Sunday August 25, 2013
from 10am-12pm. There will be a honey tasting and children’s craft. The Agudas
Achim Hebrew School offers classes for students from pre-K through grade 12. Rabbi
Elyse Wechterman and the Hebrew school staff will be available to discuss their
nationally recognized – SHABBAT B’YACHAD programs which are designed to join
the school and larger synagogue community.
These programs include Saturday morning workshops featuring arts and
music, intergenerational learning and prayer; Friday evening family services,
class dinners, and guest speakers; and quarterly volunteer opportunities, as
well as holiday workshops.  The Preschool
Program, for 4 and 5 year olds, meets one or two Sundays per month from 9-12
and includes music, experiential learning, holiday crafts, story time and
more.  This program is a great introduction
to synagogue life and the Jewish community.
Synagogue membership is not required to participate in the Preschool
Program.
